That includes filing your DWC-1 claim form correctly, meeting deadlines under Labor Code § 5405 (generally one year from injury to file an Application for Adjudication), gathering medical evidence, disputing denied treatment through Utilization Review/Independent Medical Review, and representing you at the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board if the case goes to a hearing.
Not every case needs heavy litigation, but every case benefits from someone who knows the local claims adjusters, the Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) process, and how to calculate permanent disability ratings correctly.
