How we write
Every page on yazdchilaw.com is written or reviewed by Eman Yazdchi, Esq., a Certified Specialist in Workers' Compensation Law certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization (Cal Bar #285231). Fewer than 1% of California attorneys hold a specialist certification in Workers’ Compensation Law.
Drafts are produced with the assistance of editorial workflow tools and are subject to attorney review for accuracy of statute citations, procedural references, and benefit calculations before publication.
Fact-checking
- Every California Labor Code citation is verified against the official California Legislative Information website (leginfo.legislature.ca.gov) before publication.
- Title 8 California Code of Regulations references are cross-checked against the Department of Industrial Relations rulebook.
- WCAB district references reflect the offices where Yazdchi Law P.C. appears regularly: Palmdale headquarters plus the Van Nuys, Bakersfield, Los Angeles, Long Beach, Pomona, San Bernardino, Riverside, and Oxnard WCAB districts. We do not claim representation at districts where our firm does not appear.
- Credential claims are backed by verifiable State Bar of California and California Board of Legal Specialization records, linked from every page byline.
- Case-result figures cite settlements and awards actually obtained; net-of-fees recovery may differ. Past results do not guarantee future outcomes — this disclaimer is paired with every specific dollar figure on the site, in compliance with California Business & Professions Code §6157.2 and Rules of Professional Conduct 7.1.
Updates
Every page carries a visible “Last reviewed” date. We re-review and update content when:
- The California Labor Code is amended (new sections, repeals, or revisions to benefit calculations).
- WCAB Rules of Practice and Procedure are revised by the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board.
- California Courts of Appeal or the Supreme Court issue published opinions interpreting workers’ compensation statutes.
- The Department of Industrial Relations issues regulatory or enforcement guidance affecting injured workers.
- Annual benefit caps (PD rates, TTD/TPD maxes) are adjusted by the State Average Weekly Wage formula in Labor Code §4453.
Corrections
If you find an error on any page, please email service@yazdchilaw.comwith the URL and a brief description. We will investigate and, when warranted, publish a correction within five business days. Material corrections are noted alongside the updated “Last reviewed” date on the affected page.
