The Anaheim WCAB district office, the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board location for Anaheim and much of northern Orange County, is at 1065 North Pacificenter Drive, Suite 170, Anaheim, CA 92806. Its direct line is (714) 414-1800. This office hears workers' compensation disputes that California law venues there, not simply every case with an Anaheim address, so confirm your own case's office through your hearing notice or the official DWC page below.
Yazdchi Law P.C. is a Palmdale firm, not located inside this WCAB building. Eman Yazdchi, California State Bar #285231, reviews each California workers' compensation matter individually. Call (661) 273-1780 or use the contact form to ask about a claim connected to this office.
Which cases go to the Anaheim WCAB office?
Only cases where California law sets venue in Orange County, not every case with an Anaheim mailing address, belong at this office.
California Labor Code section 5501.5 sets venue for a workers' compensation case. An application for adjudication of claim is filed in the county where the injured worker lives on the filing date, the county where the injury (or, for a cumulative injury, the last exposure) happened, or the county of the worker's attorney, if the worker has one. When that county has more than one appeals board office, the case goes to whichever office fits those facts; when it has none, the case goes to the nearest qualifying office.
The DWC ZIP code locator is a quick way to see which office usually handles a ZIP code. DWC's own listing assigns 89 ZIP codes to the Anaheim office, reaching Anaheim and these nearby cities:
- Anaheim
- Brea
- Buena Park
- Fullerton
- Garden Grove
- La Habra
- La Habra Heights
- La Mirada
- La Palma
- Orange
- Placentia
- Villa Park
- Yorba Linda
- Newport Beach
Only part of Orange and part of Newport Beach fall inside this ZIP coverage, so a worker in either city should run their own address through the locator rather than assume. Either way, the locator is a convenience tool. It does not overrule section 5501.5, and it does not rule on venue for one particular claim.
What happens once you are at the Anaheim office?
Judges hold workers' compensation hearings at this office, and two DWC units based there help with disability ratings and general claim questions.
DWC lists a Disability Evaluation Unit and an Information and Assistance Unit inside the Anaheim building, along with the Subsequent Injuries Benefits Trust Fund and the Uninsured Employers Benefits Trust Fund. The Information and Assistance Unit helps an injured worker who does not have a lawyer understand forms and the claims process. DWC's court resources page lists status conferences, mandatory settlement conferences, priority conferences, and lien conferences as its current hearing types. The office also runs a free injured-worker workshop by Zoom, at 3 p.m. on the first Friday of each month in English and the third Friday in Spanish.
Can I attend my hearing by video or phone?
Often, yes. Several conference-type hearings run on a video platform, but trials, lien trials, and expedited hearings still happen in person.
Since March 3, 2025, DWC has moved status conferences, mandatory settlement conferences, priority conferences, and lien conferences from telephone lines to the CourtCall Video Platform. Trials, lien trials, and expedited hearings continue to be set in person. Each judge keeps a separate virtual courtroom, and every courtroom also keeps a call-in number for anyone who cannot join by video. Because access links and numbers change by judge and hearing date, DWC posts current ones on its Virtual Courtroom Resources page and on the hearing notice itself; do not reuse one from an earlier hearing.
How do I get to the Anaheim office, and is parking free?
Yes, free parking sits on both sides of the building, and the office is also close to a Metrolink stop and OCTA bus lines.
DWC says the Metrolink Inland Empire-Orange County Line stops at the Anaheim Canyon Station, directly behind the building's west parking lot, and Orange County Transit Authority buses also reach the area; the official Anaheim office page links turn-by-turn driving directions. DWC describes ample free parking on both sides of the building, watched by security cameras, though spots marked reserved, or set aside for Metrolink or building management, are off-limits.
What should I bring when I go?
Bring your hearing notice and claim number, and plan around a short list of building rules DWC publishes for every visitor.
Keep your hearing notice, claim number, and any requested documents together, and check in at the front counter in Suite 170 when you arrive. DWC's posted rules say children should not be brought to court, smoking is allowed only in designated outdoor areas, and no food, gum, or drink other than bottled water is allowed on the second floor or in the Suite 170 waiting room, which has seating inside and out.

What is the next step for a worker connected to this office?
Confirm the office through your own notice or the ZIP locator, then decide whether a lawyer should look at the claim.
Start with whatever DWC document you already have. A hearing notice, an Information and Assistance letter, or a claim number says more about your case than any general page can. The directory of every WCAB district office is worth a look if your claim might sit somewhere else, such as a different home address, job site, or attorney's office outside Orange County. Related local guides cover Anaheim, Orange, and Fullerton.
Yazdchi Law P.C. is a Palmdale firm with no office inside this WCAB building, and it does not control anything DWC publishes about it. Call (661) 273-1780 or use the contact form to ask whether the firm can review a claim connected to this office. The firm reviews each matter on its own facts and does not take every case.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the address and phone number for the Anaheim WCAB district office?
DWC lists the Anaheim district office at 1065 North Pacificenter Drive, Suite 170, Anaheim, CA 92806-2131, with a direct line of (714) 414-1800. These details come from the official DWC Anaheim office page, checked October 14, 2026. Call ahead or check that page before a visit, since office details can change.
What is a WCAB court?
WCAB stands for the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, the body behind California's workers' compensation court system. DWC runs WCAB district offices across the state, including Anaheim, where judges decide disputed claims and hold the hearings on the state's court calendar. A WCAB office is not the same as a city or county courthouse.
Does living in Anaheim automatically mean my case will be heard at this office?
Not automatically. Labor Code section 5501.5 sets venue by the injured worker's county of residence on the filing date, the county where the injury or last exposure happened, or the county of the worker's attorney, not by city limits alone. The DWC ZIP code locator is a useful starting point, but it does not decide venue for an individual case.
Can I attend my Anaheim WCAB hearing by phone or video instead of going in person?
Often, yes. DWC moved status conferences, mandatory settlement conferences, priority conferences, and lien conferences onto the CourtCall Video Platform starting March 3, 2025, and every courtroom keeps a call-in option. Trials, lien trials, and expedited hearings still require an in-person appearance. Check your hearing notice or DWC's Virtual Courtroom Resources page for the current link or number for your judge and date.
What are the Anaheim office's hours, and is there a lobby?
DWC lists court sessions from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The building lobby is open 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on business days, with walk-through screening from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. DWC's posted rules also say children should not be brought to court.
Is parking free at this WCAB office?
DWC describes ample free parking on both the west and east sides of the building, watched by security cameras. Spots marked reserved, or set aside for Metrolink or building management, are off-limits. The Metrolink Inland Empire-Orange County Line also stops nearby at the Anaheim Canyon Station.
What is the phone number for the California Division of Workers' Compensation?
DWC's statewide Information Services Center is 1-800-736-7401, staffed weekdays during business hours. The Anaheim office's own line is (714) 414-1800, and DWC's disability-accommodation line is 1-866-681-1459. Use the statewide number for general questions and the office line for something specific to an Anaheim hearing.
