The Riverside WCAB district office sits at 3737 Main Street, Suite 300, Riverside, CA 92501, and it is where the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board hears cases venued in Riverside and much of Riverside County. DWC lists the office's phone line as 951-782-4269. Judges there decide disputes over medical care, disability payments, and other workers' compensation questions, and the building also houses two DWC units that help injured workers directly. Your hearing notice, not a ZIP code, is the real proof that your case sits at this office, so check it or call ahead if you are unsure.
This district office is where DWC hears workers' compensation cases for Riverside and the surrounding area.
DWC runs this location as one of 23 WCAB district offices across California. Everything below is taken from the DWC's own Riverside office page, last checked October 14, 2026.

DWC also runs a ZIP code locator that points visitors toward a likely office. It is a convenience, not a ruling, on where your case belongs; the next section covers the actual rule.
Which cases go to the Riverside WCAB district office?
Most Riverside and Riverside County area claims land here because of how DWC's ZIP code list is built, though the ZIP code itself is not what decides venue.
Venue instead runs through Labor Code section 5501.5. That statute gives an injured worker three places to file. One is the county where they lived on the day they filed the claim. Another is the county where the injury happened, or, for a cumulative injury, where the last harmful exposure occurred. A worker with an attorney has a third option: the county of that attorney's main office. DWC's ZIP list only approximates how filings tend to sort by location; it does not change the statute.
Going by that ZIP list, the cities below are usually routed to this office:
- Riverside
- Banning
- Beaumont
- Canyon Lake
- Cathedral City
- Corona
- Eastvale
- Hemet
- Highgrove
- Indio
- Jurupa Valley
- La Quinta
- Lake Elsinore
- Lake Mathews
- Mead Valley
- Menifee
- Moreno Valley
- Murrieta
- Norco
- Palm Desert
- Palm Springs
- Perris
- Rancho Mirage
- San Jacinto
- Twentynine Palms

What happens at this office?
Hearings here resolve disputes over medical treatment, wage replacement, and other workers' compensation issues, and the building also houses two DWC support units.
Besides its courtrooms, the Riverside office houses the Disability Evaluation Unit and the Information and Assistance Unit. DWC also lists an injured worker workshop held over Zoom at 3 p.m., in English on the first Friday of the month and in Spanish on the third Friday, current as of the date checked above. Workshop days can shift, so confirm the current schedule on the official page rather than relying on this page alone.
Can you attend a hearing by phone or video?
Several common hearing types now run on a video platform instead of the old phone line, though trials still happen in person.
DWC retired its old conference-line phone system for several hearing types. Status conferences, mandatory settlement conferences, priority conferences, and lien conferences now run on the CourtCall Video Platform instead. Trials, lien trials, and expedited hearings were kept in person and are not part of that shift. Every judge at this office has a virtual courtroom on the platform, and DWC posts the sign-in details for it on its own website and on the notice mailed for your hearing, not anywhere else. Treat any phone number or access code from another source as unreliable, since DWC can change how the virtual system works.
How do you get there and park?
The office sits in downtown Riverside, reachable by Metrolink, local bus, or car, with metered and lot parking nearby.
Metrolink's Riverside Line stops at the Riverside Downtown station, roughly a mile from the building. Riverside Transit Agency buses also serve downtown, including Route 50, which DWC calls the "Jury Trolley." Drivers will find curbside meters and city-run lots and garages nearby. DWC specifically points to a small lot at the University Avenue and Main Street crosswalk. It also lists a parking garage on Market Street, between University and Mission Inn Boulevard, where the first 90 minutes are free. Once inside, expect a security checkpoint where staff check photo identification, so budget a few extra minutes before your hearing.
What should you bring?
A photo ID and your hearing notice cover the basics, and arriving once the lobby opens avoids a rushed start.
DWC opens the Riverside lobby at 8:00 a.m., five days a week except holidays, and the clerk's office on the 3rd floor is where filings get date stamped. Bring a government-issued photo ID along with whatever notice or letter brought you in. DWC's guidance also says children should not be brought to court. If your own filing needs a walk-through instead of a mailed submission, the office takes those Monday through Friday, between 8:00 and 11:00 in the morning and 1:00 and 4:00 in the afternoon.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where is the Riverside WCAB office located?
DWC lists the Riverside district office at 3737 Main Street, Suite 300, Riverside, CA 92501, reachable at 951-782-4269. These details are current as of the DWC page check on October 14, 2026.
Which cities use the Riverside WCAB office?
DWC's ZIP code list routes Riverside, Moreno Valley, Corona, Perris, Hemet, Indio, Palm Springs, and close to twenty other nearby cities to this office. That list is a starting point only; Labor Code section 5501.5, not your ZIP code, is what actually fixes venue.
Does my ZIP code decide which WCAB office handles my case?
Not on its own. DWC's locator just estimates an office based on ZIP code. The real rule, Labor Code section 5501.5, looks at where you lived when you filed, where the injury occurred, or your attorney's main office location if you are represented. When in doubt, your hearing notice or your attorney can confirm the office handling your file.
Can I attend a Riverside WCAB hearing by video instead of going in person?
For many hearing types, yes. DWC shifted status conferences, settlement conferences, priority conferences, and lien conferences onto its CourtCall Video Platform, while trials and a handful of other hearings remain in person. Get the current sign-in link from DWC's Virtual Courtroom Resources page or your own hearing notice, since platform details can be updated.
What units are inside the Riverside WCAB building?
Along with its hearing courtrooms, the building holds the Disability Evaluation Unit and the Information and Assistance Unit. DWC also runs a monthly injured worker workshop by Zoom, as described on its office page as of the date checked above.
What should I bring to a hearing at this office?
Bring a government-issued photo ID plus the notice or letter that brought you to the hearing. The lobby does not open until 8:00 a.m. on business days, so arriving earlier will not get you inside sooner, and the building's security check takes a few minutes once you are in.
Does Yazdchi Law have an office at the Riverside WCAB building?
No. Yazdchi Law P.C. operates only from Palmdale and has no office at the Riverside WCAB location. The firm reviews California workers' compensation matters, including ones venued in Riverside, on request; call (661) 273-1780 or use the contact form to start that review.
