The Pomona office of the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB) is at 732 Corporate Center Drive, Pomona, CA 91768, phone 909-623-4301. It holds hearings and conferences for California workers' compensation cases that are legally venued there. The DWC ZIP code locator can show which office currently handles filings from an address, but a locator result is not the same as legal venue. Check your hearing notice, or call the office, to confirm where your case is set.

Workers' compensation cases from Pomona and a cluster of nearby San Gabriel Valley and Inland Valley cities are heard at this California Workers' Compensation Appeals Board office.

Pomona is one of the Division of Workers' Compensation (DWC)'s district offices, pairing a hearing court with on-site DWC units that serve the cities below. The details here reflect the official DWC office page, last checked October 14, 2026.

Which cases go to this office?

A case lands here by operation of law, not because Pomona is the nearest building on a map.

The DWC's ZIP code locator is a convenience tool: enter a ZIP code and it names the district office currently tied to it, but that result is not a legal determination of venue. Labor Code section 5501.5 actually controls, and it points to one of three places: the county where the injured worker lived on the date of filing, the county of the injury itself (or, in a cumulative trauma claim, the county of the last injurious exposure), or, when the worker has an attorney, the county of that attorney's main office. Only when none of those counties has a board office does the statute redirect filing to the nearest office that does.

Cities currently tied to the Pomona office include:

To confirm your own case, look at the district named on your hearing notice, or run your ZIP code through the DWC's locator. Staff at the Information and Assistance Unit, covered next, can also point you to the right office.

What happens there?

Pomona pairs a hearing calendar with two DWC support units.

Beyond hearings and settlement conferences, two units operate out of the building. The Disability Evaluation Unit issues permanent disability ratings for claims where that rating is disputed. The Information and Assistance Unit, aimed mainly at workers without a lawyer, explains how the claims process works in general terms; it does not take sides or offer legal advice.

A no-cost injured worker workshop also runs out of this office over Zoom. Per the DWC's posted schedule, it meets at 3 p.m. on the first Friday of each month in English and the third Friday in Spanish, covering the claims process step by step.

Can you attend by video or phone?

For most conference-type hearings, yes. Trials still happen in person.

March 3, 2025 marked a statewide change: the DWC retired its old telephone conference lines for status conferences, mandatory settlement conferences, priority conferences, and lien conferences in favor of the CourtCall Video Platform, with every workers' compensation judge given a virtual courtroom there. Trials, lien trials, and expedited hearings were left out of that change and still take place at the office in person.

Because the DWC assigns judges and posts virtual courtroom links directly, and because those details change, this page leaves them out on purpose. Check the DWC's Virtual Courtroom Resources page ahead of your hearing for the current link and setup steps.

How do you get there and park?

732 Corporate Center Drive in Pomona, with parking on site.

Foothill Transit runs bus service to the area, and the DWC's own office page links turn-by-turn driving directions. Once you arrive, unmarked spaces and any space posted for the building are open to visitors; spaces reserved for other tenants are not, and the DWC warns that parking in one of those risks a tow.

What should you bring?

Photo identification and whatever notice brought you there, timed to the lobby's hours.

The lobby runs 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., five days a week except holidays, and the information counter inside can date stamp and file documents. If you are coming to file paperwork or ask a question rather than attend a hearing, the DWC sets walk-through hours at 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and again from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The DWC's posted guidance also asks that children not be brought to court. When a hearing notice does not spell out what you specifically need, calling the office or the Information and Assistance Unit beforehand is the safer route.

Yazdchi Law P.C. reviews claims venued at the Pomona office the same way it reviews any California workers' compensation matter: case by case, on the facts presented. Palmdale is the firm's only physical location, but phone, video, and mail contact mean clients elsewhere in the state rarely need to travel there.

A full list of California's WCAB offices is on the WCAB district offices page. Workers torn between the Pomona and Los Angeles offices specifically may want Los Angeles WCAB vs Pomona WCAB: Which District Controls My Case? first. Frequently Asked Questions

Does the DWC's ZIP code locator decide which WCAB office hears my case?

No, it only reflects current administrative handling by ZIP code. The controlling rule is California Labor Code section 5501.5, which looks at your residence county, the county where the injury happened, or your attorney's county, not a ZIP lookup. When in doubt, the district named on your hearing notice is the one to rely on.

Where exactly is the Pomona WCAB office?

732 Corporate Center Drive, Pomona, CA 91768. The DWC lists 909-623-4301 as the office phone number, and court sessions run 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Can I skip the drive to Pomona for my hearing?

For several hearing types, yes. Status conferences, mandatory settlement conferences, priority conferences, and lien conferences run on the DWC's CourtCall Video Platform. Trials, lien trials, and expedited hearings are the exception and still require an in-person appearance. Your hearing notice or the DWC's Virtual Courtroom Resources page will confirm which applies to you.

What do the units inside the Pomona office actually do?

The Disability Evaluation Unit rates permanent disability in disputed claims, and the Information and Assistance Unit answers general process questions, mainly for workers without an attorney. Neither one represents a party or gives legal advice.

Is there a free workshop for injured workers at this office?

Yes, held over Zoom rather than inside the building. The DWC's schedule lists 3 p.m. sessions on the first Friday of the month in English and the third Friday in Spanish, walking through how a claim moves forward.

How do I know if my case belongs in Pomona instead of Los Angeles?

Start with the district printed on your Application for Adjudication or hearing notice. If that is unclear, the deciding facts are the same ones the venue statute uses everywhere: your residence county, the injury county, or your attorney's county. Our Los Angeles versus Pomona comparison walks through those factors in more detail.

Does Yazdchi Law P.C. keep an office near Pomona?

No. The firm is based solely in Palmdale and handles cases venued at the Pomona office, and elsewhere in California, through phone, video, and mail contact rather than a branch location.
